The Attorney General’s Office is currently investigating a tragic incident that unfolded in Southampton Township, New Jersey, involving a New Jersey State Police (NJSP) vehicle. According to reports, one adult male civilian suffered fatal injuries in the crash, the details of which are still under scrutiny.

The preliminary investigation reveals that the fatal collision took place on State Route 70 in Southampton, where an on-duty state trooper was carrying out routine patrol duties. Tragically, the motorcyclist succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at Virtua Mount Holly Hospital at around 12:45 p.m. The state trooper, however, escaped the incident with minimal harm.
